The Orienteering way…
Everyone starts from where they are, not where we are. Provided you have unreasonable expectations and the determination to see them through we’ll meet you there and take it from there.
That usually, but not always, means a couple of meetings to find out what gets you out of bed in the morning. Wherever possible we like to keep these meetings away from the office. In-house conversations have a habit of being just that – in-house. We’re interested is the person behind the professional.
We then draw up an Objective Statement. A one page document that says where things are, what needs to be done, how things will look once they’re done and the resources available to do it. The Objective Statement is our reference map – and ensures that we are quite literally all starting off at the same point and heading in the same direction.
Some of the tools we might use along the way…
Sticky Research
We use co-creative workshops to get beneath the surface and discover the intuitive and largely unconscious decision making processes that really drive customers needs. This can’t be done using 2 hour focus groups or questionnaires. So we don’t.
Maps
We use maps to guide us along the way, keep track of where we are and where we need to go next.
Brand Compass
A map is only really useful if you have an accurate internal brand compass. We’ll work with you to define your vision, essence, promise and values making it easier for your customers to navigate their way towards your brand.
Innovation and NPD
When it comes to innovation and NPD there are several routes we might use but all are based on one thing – the brand. By the brand we mean the people, history and vision of your brand. Anything that does not reflect and is not fully aligned with these three groundrules is not Sticky NPD or Sticky Innovation.
Cultural Alignment
Ultimately brands are not so much about strategies as they are about people. We use half and full day orienteering events to ensure that everyone knows where they are going and what it takes to get there > them. A brand that is not fully owned and exciting is not and never will be a sticky brand.

We’ll help you say who you are, what you stand for and what your customers can expect. We do this in a way that is a true reflection of your brand.
